Contact Orienteering ACT to learn more about the programs and support they offer ACT primary and secondary school students (boys and girls) and teachers.
School orienteering SC-ORE is a mini series for ACT primary school children operating 4 Thursdays before school in term 1 and term 4 each year. Teams of four (two boys and two girls). No previous experience needed
Kids at Play Active Play (KAPAP) is a free ACT Government program that offers training and resources for early childhood educators in the ACT along with with web information for parents.
Triathlon Australia offers a junior triathlon programme to develop fundamental skills required for sport in children between the ages of 7 – 13 years.
The TRYstars program helps kids develop the skills and confidence needed for triathlons in a fun, active and rewarding environment! TRYstars is Triathlon Australia’s national “first touch” junior participation program for 7-12 yr olds that encourages kids to get involved in Triathlon all around Australia
Supporting Canberra schools in their efforts to get students physically active. Jump Rope for Heart also provides registered schools with free resources and lesson plans to educate students on the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Ride or Walk to School program is an encompassing and supportive program, designed to drive culture change within the school community around riding or walking to school.
Swim and Survive is suitable for school aged children from 4 years and up.
