Family Services at Lanyon
The Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre (MLYCC) in Conder supports community organisations to better support local families in the region. Below is a list of community services that are currently collocating at MLYCC each week/month. Community members and school and early childhood staff can drop in and/ or refer families they work with to arrange a time to have a chat with a service at the Centre. The Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre is located at 22 Sidney Nolan Street, Conder, free parking available.

Feros Care

| How Can Feros Care Help You? |
Feros Care provides local area coordination for the NDIS in the ACT for people aged between 9 and 65 years old. Their job is to help people with disability connect with services and can support people to request access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) so they can live healthy, happy lives. Your LAC will listen to you, so they know what’s important for you. They can also: • Help you connect with government and community services in your area • Support you to apply for the NDIS • Support you to put your NDIS plan into action. Drop in to the Centre or contact Feros Care to connect.

| Mindmap |
Mindmap offers a free counselling service for Young People 0-25 who are on the waitlist for another service. Active hold is available from 9am- 5pm, 5 days per week. The MindMap ‘Single session support’ offers a ‘one off’ appointment to unpack the current circumstances and challenges for a Young Person and assist with making warm referrals. Both Active Hold and Single Session Intervention can be offered at our primary site in Narrabundah, our outreach post at Mura Lanyon Community and Youth Centre in Conder, or online.
