NEW in 2024: Inclusion Community of Practice for Early Childhood Educators (Southside). 

Are you an Early Childhood Teacher or Educator on the Southside of ACT? Do you want to know more about including children with disability or developmental delay into your service?

The Inclusion Community of Practice for Early Childhood Educators (Southside) is a Community of Practice facilitated by EACH in partnership with the Southside Initiative.

The Inclusion Community of Practice aims to build capacity of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector in response to industry specific challenges.

Furthermore, the Inclusion Community of Practice will support centres to build their capacity to sustain the enrolment and inclusion of all children.
We invite early childhood educators, teachers, directors, and managers who work on the southside of ACT to attend.

Time: 5:30-7:00 pm 
Location: Greenway Childcare and Education Centre. 
A light supper will be provided, tea and coffee.

The topic for our last meeting for 2024 will be ‘Understanding behaviour – what can educators do?’ where we will discuss environments, routines, and transitions in relation to understanding children’s behaviour.

We will hear from the Communities at Work Greenway Childcare & Education Centre staff about the great work they are doing to support children’s behaviour using environments, routines, and transitions. There will also be an opportunity to tour the centre.
