More For Children - A Research Project (2025)

In January 2025, the Southside Initiative teamed up with ANU researchers Sharon Bessell and Cadhla O' Sullivan. The More for Children research project explores what makes life good and what makes life tough for children. The project is a first for Canberra and involves rights-base, child centered research with children aged between six and twelve years old to better understand what matters to children when a family may be struggling.
