Big and Small Behaviours: Seeing the signals, not just the struggles. |
This workshop invites families, support workers, and educators to pause, step back, and look beyond the behaviour to see the person. We’ll explore how behaviours that seem to get in the way of community connection, learning, or living a good life are often signs of deeper issues, like unmet needs, environments that don’t fit, or goals that aren’t meaningful to the person. Presented by Ann Greer

Beyond therapy: Reimaging support through community and connection. |
In today’s NDIS landscape, therapy has become one of the most visible and commonly accessed forms of support. However, many therapists, families, and individuals alike are finding that the system increasingly places therapists in roles that require endless documentation, assessments, and reporting. This leaves less time for the relationship-based, capacity-building work that can genuinely support inclusion and connection.

Addressing loneliness: Creating real connection in community life. |
Research consistently shows that strong relationships contribute significantly to a person’s well-being, even extending life expectancy. This means relationships are one of the most vital aspects of a good life.
