The Duke of Ed Framework is a structured way to try new things, stay active, build skills and confidence and contribute to community, all while receiving global recognition for your efforts!

It’s flexible, supports every kind of interest and helps young Australians grow into capable, motivated, well-rounded humans.

Think of it as a guided pathway where you choose your activities, set goals and work towards them with support from your Duke of Ed Leader and peers. 

You can receive recognition including a digital credential for activities that you may already be doing. For example, co-curricular activities like sport, music lessons, voluntary work.”

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Office Australia is a national organisation focused on supporting young people to thrive. We are part of a global community utilising the respected Duke of Ed Award Framework to deliver important outcomes for young people by collaborating with a network of Award partners and volunteers; schools, organisations, governments, and businesses, to champion and support Australian young people in their commitment to understand themselves, find their passion and realise their potential.
