The Junction
The Junction Youth Health Service provides bulk-billed primary health care and support services to young people aged 12 to 25, along with their dependent children.
We have a particular focus on young people who are homeless or otherwise experience (or are at risk of) disadvantage. Services include: GPs, nurses, smoking cessation support, case management, youth work support in addition to outreach to schools.
To make healthcare and support services even more accessible, The Junction is now mobile! The Junction Youth Outreach Van goes out once a week to support anyone who might struggle to make it all the way into the City for an appointment. The Van is staffed by a Doctor and a Nurse or Youth Worker. No appointments needed and new patients are welcome, just turn up during our hours. The Van is out every Wednesday from 12.30pm – 4.30pm, the location alternates between Northside and Southside! To find out where the van is, phone us on 02 6232 2423 or visit our Instagram.
