Kids Into Sports
The Kids into Sport program was established to ensure that regardless of the barriers, every child in the Tuggeranong Valley is given the opportunity to play sport.
With a network of over 40 local schools, sports clubs and community organisations, the program has the capacity to fund registration fees, uniforms, and safety equipment to get them out on the field, court, or stage.
Applicant eligibility
The program prioritises funding for kids who are unable to meet the costs of sports fees, uniforms, and safety equipment. Kids into Sport considers applications for funding to anyone who is:
- Aged 6 - 17
- Living in Tuggeranong
- Wanting to play a local Tuggeranong sport
- Attending school
Applications must be referred by a sporting team, school, or community group.
Please note that only one grant each season can be considered for eligible applicants, and all funds are directly sent to the sports organisation.
