Transition To Preschool 2025

The Southside Initiative brings together a list of community Information Sessions and Resources available to parents and carers to support them with their child's transition to preschool in 2025.

Each child's journey to preschool is different and whatever the circumstances, starting preschool should be an exciting time for your child and family.  Remember to also check in with your new preschool for their parent information session dates.

Preschool Transition

Is your child starting preschool or school in 2025? The ACT Education Directorate has launched the Preschool Pathways program, designed to support children in their transition to preschool. You are invited to this session to get tips on how to prepare your child socially and emotionally for this transition and how to use play and fun to learn. There will be Q&A with the Preschool Pathways Partners.
