Nutrition Australia ACT
Food&ME™ is a series of evidence-based nutrition education units (from Preschool to Year 8) linked to The Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education and aligns with the Australian Dietary Guidelines (2013).
Our primary school curriculum based modules focus on issues around food and nutrition, personal safety, physical activity, cybersafety, safety with medicine and legal drugs; tobacco, alcohol and caffeine.
Fresh Tastes is a free ACT Government service that helps primary schools make healthy food and drinks a bigger part of everyday life for Canberra’s kids. Fresh Tastes schools have access to financial grants, discounted services, professional learning, curriculum resources and incentives from partners to achieve their goals.
ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Association
P&C Council supports ACT public school parents, carers and students with advice and information on operating healthy canteens and healthy fundraising.
Nutrition Australia ACT delivers a range of nutrition support for schools to meet their healthy food and drink policy. Includes healthy canteens, Teacher PL, and parent information sessions
